It's not looking promising for any snow for the ride across Lake Winnebago next weekend due to global warming. We have had only 1 measurable snow fall this winter of 3 inches and melted in pouring rain this week. Temps near Friday will be near 50 degrees. As of this date this is the lowest snowfall total so far this winter ever recorded in Wisconsin. Our high temp on Friday will definitely break a record.

Everyone did a snow dance and it started snowing about 2 hours before the start of the ride today to the cheers of hundreds of riders. This was our first major snowfall this winter here. It was a 20 mile round trip ride across the lake in snow with a temp of 20 degrees.

I agree. Climate changes constantly and always has. People forget that Wisconsin was once covered with glaciers and then melted. That's what formed the geographical beauty of this state.
