Americans Are Becoming Less Comfortable With LGBTQ People, GLAAD Report Finds

"he 2018 Accelerating Acceptance report found that 49 percent of the non-LGBTQ respondents identified themselves as LGBTQ “allies” in 2017, down from 53 percent in 2016. At the same time, 55 percent of the LGBTQ respondents said they experienced anti-queer discrimination last year, compared to 44 percent in 2016."

As usual, more ultra leftist propaganda from both GLAAD and the uncredible Huffington Post.

Does this mean the Nazis and their christian terrorists running and ruining our country will force us LGBTQ to leave? to convert or die?

Ive been out for 28 years now, I could never go back into the closet in order to 'fit in' to the new uncomfortable AmeriKKKa icon_twisted.gif

It’s Official: America Suddenly Isn’t Comfortable With LGBT People

For the first time in four years, GLAAD found that fewer non-LGBT adults are comfortable with their LGBT peers. The organization says Trump’s anti-LGBT agenda is partly to blame

Probably if we didnt have those gender bending radicals known as transgenders in our community, we wouldnt be worrying about many non GLB Americans becoming uncomfortable with us.

Yeah, right. From the same leftist propaganda mouthpieces that brought you these kind of "polls" during the 2016 elections. But you leftists DO need to constantly feel like you are victims. So easily played, the lot of you!

I don't blame straight people for not feeling comfortable being around LGBTQ people. I don't see straight people complaining every year "straight and proud" b.s. or being selfish that care about themselves than other human rights.

Gay pride? What is so special? Hot guys, porns, rainbows, nudies, sex, drag queens, dikes, blah, and blah? Why not LGBTQ community focus on gay rights around the world and justice in this fucking country? No, all they care about themselves being beautiful. Just my opinion.

No wonder why some RJ members are poorly educated on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or any other topics around the world.

does the poll question indicate they are less comfortable with people in general. your paranoia down there seems to be increasing exponentially.

As a gay man, I don't feel especially persecuted by Trump or his administration. Granted, he is obnoxious, blunt, and sometimes downright childish, and the mere existence of these characteristics in a president probably do play their part in encouraging intolerant behavior in some of those who supported him. However, in the last administration, I don't recall anyone blaming Barack Obama for the Ferguson riots or the Trayvon Martin hysteria, or the antics of Black Lives Matter, even though he didnt publicly oppose any of them. The independent acts of a few fringe radicals should be charged to them, not the president. The fact is that Trump has shown more support for the LGTBQ (I hope that's the right acronym, honestly I've lost track, it changes so often) community than any republican candidate or republican president in history. No republican before him has ever even referenced LGBTQ citizens. He stated that he had no intention of challenging gay marriage, he hasn't challanged the rights of gays to serve in the military (transexuals, yes, based on medical costs), and he waved the rainbow flag during his campaign. In all honesty, from a conservative politician, what more do you wish?

The "T" really doesn't belong in the GLB communities.
After all, once most of them have transitioned, they identify as hetrosexual.
