    Hey guys -

I just bought an ActiFry after a client of mine wouldn't stop raving about it. I also had an old roommate swear by these things for cooking meals and reheating food. Since I live in a small apartment with no microwave, I thought this would be a good solution to meal prep and/or reheating leftovers.

There are so many books on the market and not enough reviews to justify a purchase so I was wondering if anyone had some great cookbooks or links to recipes specifically for ActiFry appliances.

I'm not too concerned about caloric intake but I'm not going to be making chicken wings and french fries everyday. Appreciate a push in the right direction or tips for quick meals and snacks to keep my summer body in line.

This article mainly compares air fryers to deep frying which is something I never do or plan to do with this appliance. The main reason for this purchase was to make up for my lack of toaster, toaster oven, and microwave - all which I have never owned.

The recipes I have looked at on YouTube have people making fajita filling, meatballs, etc. I'm pretty creative when it comes to cooking so maybe I'll just (chicken) wing it and see what I come up with.

Deep frying isn't worth the trouble unless you use lard.
