Once upon a time they were my whole life... these days I'm in touch less and less. Is that the same for you?

I keep in touch with a good handful of college buds I use to terrorize the campus with. Every now and then we all meet in Vegas for a weekend of drunken fun.

I guess that's how it goes, you see each other less but keep the familiarity when you do meet up!

I keep pretty close contact with most of them. Going on 6 years now.

The friends I've made in college are (and continue to be) like a second family. Since most moved north with me, I have the pleasure of seeing them every now and then--albeit others have traveled overseas for work.

Communication is key, and we're all available to help one-another out--jobs, etc.

    Cheers to nepotism :-)

I just graduated in May, but we still call and keep in touch, and I'll be visiting for spring break some of them. Two of them just decided with me to do a triathalon together as a relay team. If we like it we will do more of them. My college friends were great, I can never let them fade away from my life.

i actually keep in better contact with some high school friends.

i do a weekly trivia night with two of them, and hang out at least every month or two with a couple others.

for college friends, i don't keep as in touch as i would like...but i'm actually headed down this weekend to visit with a bunch of them, and i'm always available when they ask me to sing at their weddings icon_biggrin.gif

This might sound cliché but you ever try facebook or some kind of social network, you can make it very restrictive, only invite people you know and stay hidden if need to be, just stay away from myspace lol too much ads and viruses n' shit.

I keep in touch with people I want to keep in touch with. Mostly people I grew up with. When I went to college, I lived at home and commuted to school. So I didn't have much a campus life or establish any bonds with classmates.

My best friends are from college. I keep in constant contact with them, and their children who are my Godchildren.

I still remain in touch with quite a few. Conduct business with several. Have outlived a few also.

I live about an hour's flight from my university and there are a good number of guys from my fraternity (TDC) here in AZ and in CA, so I'm lucky to still hang out with a number of friends from the late 70s and early 80s.

funny thing. I went to a small college in Ohio. Was not out then. It was the 70's. I had a mad crush on a fellow, Mitch. Of all my college peers, I keep in touch only with Mitch.

My closest friends are from high school (some of them go back to elementary).

Starting to drift apart. Several of my friends have already left the country. Most are working elsewhere or going to school. The few friends I have left here in my hometown, yes, but not so much. Since they already have work, wives, or children. We still have nights out or parties regularly though. And there's always a reunion party of some sort in summer or christmas breaks.

I'm attending the birthday party of a friend's son this Sunday actually. I'm one of the godfathers.

Nope. I left them when I came out just like I left all my friends in my home town and most of my family. They all got one chance at accepting me and most of them blew it. I didn't feel they deserved second chances which I don't give anyway. I'm far better off without them in my life.icon_biggrin.gif

    Aww..memories.

Yeah. My four closest friends are from college although we're all living in different continents now. One is living in Palma de Mallorca in Spain, the other in Brisbane, and the other in Singapore. I'm the one stuck here in Cali. Although we do get to meet once in a while in neatural grounds (i.e. Bangkok at the end of this year woohoo)

The four of us were amazing cheatmates in college!!! Oh the golden days!
