    In my opinion it is too processed to be a primitive food that out body evoled with. I eat it on occasion but quality varies wildly.

    Fermented soybean. Mycelium growth betwee them. Highly protein

    I eat ist occasionally. I just find the flavour is a bit overwhelming in a lot of dishes.

    I haven't tried making it, as the fungal culture is a bit fussy about temperature ranges.
