Well Hillary rotten Clinton was unstable, inept, and unethical. She had a 30+ year political career of zero accomplishments, lies and distortions, and endless screw ups.

I love how any criticism of the President is answered with "But Hillary!!!"

Is that considered the "Straw Man" logical fallacy? or the "Red Herring"? Either way, it does seem to be the standard comeback when there's no dispute of the facts presented. icon_confused.gif

It is just as well Hillary didn't snuff it (as the Trumpsters were confidently predicting she would 18 months ago). She's still their number one deflection default.

Fox News is obsessed with “shadow president” Hillary Clinton

From her stance on the NFL protests, to her response to the Harvey Weinstein scandal, Fox News has reacted to Clinton's every move as if she were the leader of the free world and the beacon of Americanism.

The term "Shadow President" would infer to me Hillary is having influence on policy decisions and legislation(?). No obvious effects of her influence as a "shadow P" near as I can tell. It's all Drumph.

The ship is adrift. No one competent at the helm. Drifting towards rocky shoals (I will stop with the nautical references).

Our democracy was not designed to have a “king” at it head. Read the constitution, he is not empowered to create law or domesticate policy. George Washingtonian saw the position as an executive admin and commander and chief.

You are correct. But Trump thinks he's the CEO of USA Inc., and can run the country as he wishes, without constraints. The US Constitution, and the balance of power among the 3 branches of government, are totally alien and unknown to him.

Trump simply doesn't have the capacity to understand his correct role as US President. Add to that his dangerous megalomania and this is what you get.

Trump is kinda like the USA version of Berlusconi (when he was the head of Italy), except without the Bunga Bunga parties (too many observers at the White House for those). He is much as a wild character, although Berlusconi actually had more power running Italy than Trump does the USA.

Yeah, Trump combines the comedy of Berlusconi with the posturing of Mussolini. Despite what provincial and gullible Trumpsters may think, original, Trump isn't.

I don't understand. How does one "domesticate policy"? I know about domesticating animals, but I've never heard of domesticating policies.

A lot of critics want to liken Trump to Hitler. I disagree. His vain posturing, gestures and facial expressions are closer to Mussolini.

Trump is really slow at setting up the concentration camps. Hitler opened Dachau the same month he was appointed chancellor. Also, I see the capitol building is still standing. So I must disagree too.

If the Fascist left go their political way. It would in fact be them, who'd open Consideration Camps, and ban people from acting as they did.
But of course they like to do a Hillary and project this onto the other side..
