I'm relocating soon and my job surprisingly recently gave me authorization to work from home

I honestly don't like the idea of working from home too much:

    - I eat too much when I'm home.
    - I don't have many friends so work is really my only social outlet.
    - My future apartment is a 1 bedroom apartment so I don't have a lot of room for a home office.

I wish that I could move to a region with a dirt cheap cost of living but my boyfriend says that he MUST transfer to a Nurse Practioner school in another expensive sub-region in the NY metro area.

I wanna take my average NY salary and live like a millionaire in a place like Detroit, Texas, Florida or Memphis!

Sigh, the crap you'll do for love...

I work from home and have for over 10 years. I can't see myself going back to having to go into an office every day. I do travel for work at least once a monthso that helps get me out of the house on occasion.

I have my own "office" at my place, but my work requires a lot of getting around town. I run a small real estate business. Since I'm often on the run and I'm meeting other people, I like that I have my office at home. If I were a corporate employee like I used to be, I would go crazy doing work from home all the time. But I remember It felt quite nice taking WFH on Friday. I think the key is not to overdo the WFH, otherwise you'll feel like a social outcast icon_razz.gif
