Well for me just boxing is well just two men giving themselves brain damage. However, for Mixed Martial Arts it is indeed an art. There is so many different martial arts, boxing, and wrestling put into one sport. If someone actually got passed the "just beating each other op" idea you would realize it is way more than that.

But I know it is not for everyone, but you could say the same thing with any full contact sport. So to each is own, but I dont like when people just talk down fighting like it is two drunken rednecks bare knuckle boxing over a beer.
