I'm going to hold out on this one.

I kinda regret joining Facebook (time vortex).

Plus, I'm harking back to the good old days where you just lost touch with the people you don't really like...

I think twitter is silly. I don't really care what someone is doing every second of his or her day.

Dude, if you don´t like someone delete them. Be brave: it´s possible.

I'm on twitter, but I rarely post anything. Usually I use it if I have a game or to report the scores.

So is this more excuse to sit in front of the computer and let Life pass you by?

RealJock is enough for me for 'social networking'. Importantly RealJock provides the wealth of information of work out routines, change of habit (better word for diet) and feedback.icon_biggrin.gif RealJock let's me come and go whereas those other sites have you glued and type about stupid crap. Why not instead call or visit your family, friends, etc. than idle away typing how you're feeling, that you wish you could do something else besides being online, or talking to someone who types "l1ke th1s" for they think it's cool or cute.

Is twitter just an online blog? If so, that seems pointless to me.

Yah, OK. I guess if I MUST. After all, aren't we all Borg or something? Resistance is futile. Your individuality will be added to our collective, blah blah blah.

i was going to argue and educate those of you who don't know or are opposed till i remembered that i don't really care.

join or don't, but it's much more than a micro-blog.

Lol, yeah I know. The trouble is, it's less I don't like my ex-colleagues, school-mates and ex-university acquaintances, and more that I don't want the minutiae of their lives stuffed in my face.

'Kerry is having jam sandwiches for lunch.'

And then once you've accepted people as 'friends', if you delete them it implies you're 'not friends', which is a bit dramatic.

Obviously when people actually give one, they meet up and phone each other, right?

Tell them, get over it. Unless it notifies you...

    "Hot hunk is masturbating."

Then it might have some use.

I thought John McCain was the biggest Twitter star?

I heard a news blurb that a majority of Republican senators are on Twitter.

I thought Twitter was for middle-aged people because I first heard about it while running on the treadmill watching CNN. Rich Sanchez, on CNN, keeps taking questions from old people on twitter.
If it is gaining popularity...............I have nothing to say.

But what's the point of it.

If you've enough spare time to spend it twittering, then you can't be very busy.

Save yourself the bother, in two years time it'll be like myspacebook, obsolete - try getting out and living a little there's a big exciting world out there not related to the internet.
