I re-did my profile and well I feel like I may have gone a little overboard. I guess I didn't relize how much there was to who I am. Anyways how much do you think is to much information to put down on your profile? Feel free to check mine out as well and tell me your opinion

Looks alright to me. I think the key is to provide enough information to attract other guys that might have similar interests, but not too much information that would make guys think you're self-absorbed.

The other thing to remember is to format your profile. Using headings and proper paragraphs, like you did, makes it easier to read. I've seen way too many profiles from other sites that are just one long ass 500+ word paragraph. icon_lol.gif

You have serious spelling problems. Dude, learn to spell or, at least, be smart enough to use some sort of spell check.

And good luck in "arcatectural" school.

I think spelling is the least of his problems. IMO, being a "homophobic, gay christian" is far more problematic.

I think too many people here don't put enough in their profile. It's a place to introduce yourself to others and share common interests. You can't do that will a couple of lines.

    I think yours looks fine.

Why are you homophobic? If you're gay and homophobic, then you need to work that out

Cut him some slack. He's 18. I would have described myself the same way when I was 18. It takes a while to become your own person and start examining why you believe what you believe and whether it's actually valid.

And when I was 18, I thought I was the smartest person I knew and anyone who thought differently from me was just wrong and would eventually come around to agreeing with me.

I think sometimes when people get into their 30s and 40s, they forget what it was like to be a young person in their late teens, early 20s. You can't judge someone at that age on the same plane as someone who is 30+.

    awww....

I´d say a BIT shorter. I read it, but only because of the thread. OK you´re too young for me and on a different continent so that would kinda would stop me reading anyway...

You want to give a taste that leaves people asking for more. That´s the ideal. Or at least enough for people to start a conversation.

Well said. Pique their interest just enough for them to want more. BTW, if you use FireFox or Safari, those browsers will automatically underline spelling errors. Just right-click on a misspelled word, and a pop-up menu will display potential corrections.
