I just purchased a prostate massager; this is my first time and I have never used it. Any tips on it? Does it work? How would you use it? Would love to hear and learn from your experiences.

Never heard of it. What does it do? Does it turn or just vibrate? Two fingers in a condom work wonders too. By making a "come here" jesture with your fingers.

I have the aneros. It is designed to put pressure on the prostate with motion from the squeezing of the sphincter muscles. I found it did not put enough pressure on the prostate, so I usually ended up moving it manually. It is ok. I prefer my boyfriend's finger(s) to using the device. He really knows how to send me through the roof.

Actually, prostate massage is a very healthy thing to do to avoid BHP and other maladies. The tissue surrounding the gland is like any other tissue...it can become tight and hard, putting pressure on the gland. That pressure can cause incontinence; pre-mature ejaculation and a host of other nasty things.

Using a thin dildo works as does the angeros.

I use a gloved finger or two with many of my clients and do prostate massage clinically with many men suffering from a variety of things.

Once you begin massaging the prostate, you will start leaking pre-cum. This is a good thing as it helps to clear the channel.

You will also experience the most powerful orgasm you have ever had when someone is massaging the prostate.

    Come to Boston...I'll show ya!

    Thesportsjocdoc:

Are you a legit massage therapist? Are you licensed? What is your education and training background in massage? Under what qualifications do you call yourself a massage therapist..?

Your license can be revoked if you practice "prostate massage" as that is a form of prostitution and prostitution is illegal the last time I check MA state law...

Also Thesportsjoc, sincer you are stating symptons and treatment of BHP...

Please include reliable reference that prostate massage can prevent BHP as stated in your post. I did not know prostate massage can alter DHT uptake in the prostate...

And please a sound and medical reference that BHP can cause premature ejaculation...

By the way, URINE incontinence is caused by the Prudental Nerve impairment and deconditioned sphincter musculature, or a hyperactive bladder.

How is a "prostate massage" going to solve the above?

There is special pelvic integration physical therapy for sphinctor and pelvic floor musculature impairment and it is used to treat men status post prostatectomy, separated pubix symphsis, etc. BUT THIS DOE NOT MASSAGE THE PROSTATE!

Again, how do you call yourself a "Doc"?

Oh forgot about Caudia Equaina Syndrom with cord comrpession..that can also cause both urine and bowel inncontinence...

Prostate massage would not do any good for that either...

call me old fashioned, but there is nothing like a man fucking my ass with his cock the right way to make my prostate love life (even fingers)- and my favorite way to cum is hands-free this way. doesn't happen every time- sometimes one of us has to jack my dick, but it wouldn't be as hot if it happened every time with every dude.

lighten up on the sports doc- calling him a whore or a quack doesn't take away the fact that many (most?) men would love to have him do what he described, laws or not. now you think prostitution is immoral or something? whatever. alot of people think gay sex is immoral. hypocrites.

Back to the original question, I would not recommend the Aneros. The perineum massager isn't shaped very ergonomically. I have seen others that looked more rounded, so that or just wrapping that part in something thicker might help.
