If you pay for, have paid for, or know someone that hasn't signed up for Health Benefits through COBRA because money is short, you need to read about these changes that are in effect.

Those of us that have been let go, for no fault of our own, may be eligible for a 65% decrease in premiums and there's a refund for those that have been paying, according to the Department of Labor FAQ about COBRA rate reduction.

You may have some paperwork to do, but it'll be worth it. Move quickly, it looks like you only have until mid-April to sign up, and the reduced premiums are only good for 9 months.

It's a real easy read too. Everything is plainly explained in the FAQ.
