Do you think adding dumbells to your yoga workout......

    So i want to know what everyone thinks. do you think that adding dumbells to your yoga workouts will benefit you or hurt you?

    OK here´s the deal. If you want to lift weights then lift weights. It´s fun. I do it. Yoga is not, nor has it ever been, about lifting weights. It´s about many things but lifting weights is not one. You can try union between the physical and the spiritual, you can go for moving energy, you can even aim for enlightenment. You can stretch and elongate stiff and hurting muscles, you can tone and strengthen the whole body as a unit and all sorts of goodies. None of this is helped, in ANY way, by adding weights. None of it.

    Don´t do it.
