collegestudent86 saidAround me it is more about the adderall, I this is true at all top universities. They are horrible and I have seen friends be the most productive people ever, but then fall in the deepest hole in the world. Please take care of your body and mind. I know personally I pulled 37 all nighters my first year of college and many others that were 4 or less hours of sleep (architecture school is intense) and following that fell into a depression that it took me a long while to get out of. They might help out in the short term but only hold you back in the long term.
Damn! that's a lot of all-nighters.
Unfortunately I know the walk and talk of Addy. One time in high school I didn't sleep for about three days. And because I hadn't eaten anything in roughly twenty hours during the last day of this binge I was pretty fatigued. That stuff messes you up good and proper. But I was a kid, and I wasn't even using them to study. Just having some fun. . .
Haven't used 'em for college. During the summer I popped a couple nostalgically.
HndsmKansan saidI can totally understand... I had some issues in law school with that kind of thing... but for me it was taking sleeping aids. I hate them and wouldn't touch them today. Try and avoid anything ... stimulants or sleeping pills, both.. ick.
Simply Sleep! That's about as heavy as I get with sleep aids. Surprisingly I've stayed away from these things most of the semester. Last semester, almost every night. It's easy to get hooked on them. But a weekend's worth of time helps cure that.
