Natural Pick Me Ups?

    No doubt this probably happens to straight people (not that i would really know as i figure their sex consists of 10 minutes missionary and then a kiss goodnight (i'm being snarky coz i'm tired)) but.... let's say that you have been up all night on a sexual marathon followed by an early morning slurpy (you may say it's not a workout but it feels like i'm shedding pounds)... anyways, here's my question:

    Next morning you are in work and you can barely keep your eyes open. What with the tiredness and the sexual flashbacks, is there a natural pick-me-up that can get you through the day. Basically i want something to wake me up and allow some kind of minimal focus without having to turn to hard drugs or packets of nodoze (sic).

    Thoughts / Suggestions?

    Less sex and sleep earlier, or after your "early activities," hit the gym. Do some cardio for about 20-30 minz.

    i will try the banana and oatmeal... not sure i could stomach the peanut butter.... water i am downing by the gallon.

    As for the whole "Less sex and sleep earlier" thing... like what do you mean? is this even English? It sounds like some extreme behaviour akin to joining a cult or pain aversion therapy. I suggest you put such ideas out of your head icon_razz.gif

    Both fresh squeezed orange juice and good dark chocolate give me much more of a kick than any amount of coffee.

    zoot, here's one that can't fail. juice some carrots, beetroot and a lot of ginger and add some lemon juice. i also add a little salt and black pepper. it's hot, it's spicy and it will make you spin!

    Well Aero.... i am perfectly with you on the morning sex workouts but if i forgo the nightly sessions, what on earth will i do with my evenings? icon_razz.gif

    If you are gonna suggest reading a book or something educational, i shall denounce you as a harpy much like those Christian cultists who think that sex should only happen in marriage....

    Simple mind games or questions.

    Get one of those little question games. When you use your brain in the morning it really wakes you up. No caffine needed.

    An alternative is to read the newspaper in the morning. Wakes you up to process words by seeing them rather than listening to the TV.

    Thanks for that spicy suggestion dakuk, i am always looking for things to help me spin.

    Too many late nights are starting to take their toll (and that damn try being disallowed didn't help either) - i may have to cut back on my exertions.
