Favorite Homo-Erotic Film, excluding porn please.

Just recently watched Pedro Almodovar's "Bad Education", starring Gael Garcia Bernal (from "Y Tu Mama Tambien") and I absolutely loved it!

"Latter Days", "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "Shortbus" are among my other favorite films depicting homo-sexuality.

What else is worth seeing???

Brideshead Revisited (The ITV TV Drama from the 80s) is absolutely glorious.

I can see it might look totally rubbish, but it's brill.

Maurice

Stars Hugh Grant and Rupert Graves

Plot Summary from IMDB:
Two male English school chums find themselves falling in love at Cambridge. To regain his place in society, Clive gives up his forbidden love, Maurice (pronounced "Morris") and marries. While staying with Clive and his shallow wife, Anne, Maurice finally discovers romance in the arms of Alec, the gamekeeper. Written from personal pain, it's E.M. Forster's story of coming to terms with sexuality in the Edwardian age

Fantastic film. Won several awards and was nominated for an Oscar

Yossi and Jagger

Two Israeli soldiers at a remote winter outpost...and one of 'em is the cutest thing ever.

This is the official trailer though it's a little disappointing.

almost any action/martial arts movie from the 80's have massive homoerotic undertones.

It can be quite funny to watch those kind of movies and interpret everything into a gay context. one of my (straight) friends does that all the time, and it cracks me up
in his opinion Commando w. Arnold Schwarzenegger reeks of gay sex (in a symbolic way)

I'll stick with Maurice too. One of those films where no matter how many times you see it you see something new.

I would recommend seeing the film "Shelter". Great story and acting - a perfect date movie!

If you like Gael Garcia Bernal, check out Motorcycle Diaries....two young guys travel around South America on a motorcycle....not homo, but the guys do have to be pretty close and Gael is captivating.

Bruce LaBruce movies are part art-house, part porn. There is just the right mixture of humor and poignant moments to enjoy yourself and be moved without feeling like either is being forced on you.

This is the opening scene from my favorite film of his, Raspberry Reich.

And this is from his newest, Otto; Or, Up With Dead People
(It is very NSFW)

Point Break. The sexual tension between Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves is palpable.

Moon 44. Homo-erotic and possibly "so bad it's good"?:

Jonny Quest. OK it's not exactly "film" but the animation is mostly superior to comparable motion picture efforts. Boys will be boys, especially when there are very few women around:
