Just to ask if this is right...

I do usually workout late at night in between 8pm - 11pm and had 4 - 5 hours of sleep.

I drink 1 cup of Whey protein before I start to workout and 1 cup after.

Is there any effect can be made through my routine mentioned above?

Please advise me regarding on this matter. Thanks in advance.

Along with a meal I drink a protein shake before I head to the gym about midnight and another after I get home then go to sleep. I see nothing wrong with it and my body is responding to it favorably. I'm always trying to gain weight so the not eating before bed to lose weight doesn't effect me.

    Hope that helps.

It's too obvious, not enough sleeping ! don't you know that sleeping is the time that your body recover and build itself ??

Try to get more sleep and everything will be better ..

Yes, this would help me, I just worried because in a month of workout - it seems a very little progress on my part... I focused on the upper body right now and trying a very hard on the abs part...

Thanks GrowingBig... hope you can share more tips..

Thanks Ghostic, but it's really hard for me - because I'm experiencing Insomnia right now...

But I'm trying a very hard to have a 6-8 hours of sleep a day... Would be not to sleep enough time is a factor of losing or slow growth of muscles?

I also don't really snack. If I'm hungry I eat a meal even if I just had a meal and am hungry again.
