    Hey Guys,

I'm going to be moving to San Francisco in less than two weeks and I need some help. My job will be in the financial district and I'm looking for ideas on housing and gyms. Additionally I'd love to be able to meet some guys to make friends and start to build a social network.

If you have any suggestions on how to make my transition to SF as easy as possible, please share. I'll be forever indebted.

Good luck with your move. I am originally from Wisconsin [Milwaukee] and it will be a change for you.

Here are some ideas that I would consider for area gyms. The city is fairly easy to navigate on MUNI. Gold's Gym - SOMA, World's Gym, and CRUNCH are closer to downtown.

Gold's Gym - SOMA [I belong to this gym]
    World's Gym - DeHaro
    Gold's Gym - CASTRO
    24 Hour Fitness

Gosh, anywhere cheap! Which will be hard...I have a two bedroom town home which goes for about $1,500.00/month market value [just to put things in perspective]. You could probably find a room with roommates for P0 - $750/month if you hunt and peck. I recommend roommates as a way to branch out socially.

    Good luck.
