I think being gay makes me more prepared:
    • my sewing skills allows me to make clothing and therefore a valuable member in the post-sweatshop post-apocalypse
    • my cooking / baking skills let me make food that's edible AND tasty
    • my interior and exterior design sensibilities enable me to make the aesthetic best of the post-apocalypse, which will help me gain followers for my post-apocalyptic empire icon_biggrin.gif (why live in Dumpsville when you can live in my Fortress of Fabulousness?)

Well, speaking for myself, I don't think I will feel the need for another hero. All I'd really want is what's beyond the Thunderdome.

I didn't need video games to prepare me for a post-apocalyptic landscape -- I was born & raised in New Jersey. icon_razz.gif

Who needs preparation when you've spent all your free time mastering anachronistic skills?

Northern NJ near NYC or Pine Barrens?

I was raised in Princeton and Mantoloking, so I got the Heaven in NJ experience.

YEAH..New Jersey is certainly one of the best kept secrets. Cali beaches suck compare to Wildwood. Princeton corporate headquarter buildings make Silicon Valley look like low rent slums.
