Do you sleep better with someone in your bed or alone?

I sleep better alone. I used to think that Mr. Right(stein) would come along and would be perfect and we would sleep locked in each others arms...but...alas....

    no.

How about you? Sleep better with or without someone in your bed?

Tough choice...keep flip flopping on this one. I loved sleeping with someone but have been on my own for so many years, it's just a little awkward now.

    My space is comprimised.
I feel uncomfortable moving about worried I'll disturb the hottie next to me.

I still haven't figured out how to share my bed and get a decent amount of sleep. icon_sad.gif

We have our own bedrooms. We love to play 'Your Place or Mine?' Keepin' that romance a-rockin and a-rollin.

When it comes to sleep, we sleep separately...sort of, as there are enough pups to keep us both company. If either one of us has a sleepless night the other 'visits' for awhile til the awake one drops off...

I have always been a better sleeper when i'm alone. I kick, I toss and turn and I'm pretty much a cover hog. LOL I know....sexy right? I suppose i'm a hopeless romantic and hope that someday there will be somebody that I feel comfortable sharing my bed with. Someday I guess.

Totally depends on the guy. Some people don't know how to share a bed.

I usually get better quality sleep when sleeping alone.. but for me, sleeping with someone else in my bed isn't about the sleeping part.. it's about the waking up part. ^^

Waking up in the middle of the night because they're wiggling, just makes me want to wiggle in closer. And then in the morning, even if I didn't sleep well, starting the day off with him makes that okay.

Beds normally aren't designed for two strapping men!

    Gays need Kingsize.

    Is all.

Until I adjust to having someone else in bed with me, their sleeping habbits, body heat, and so on, I don't sleep well.

But after I get used to them being there it can be difficult sleeping without him...

When we get to sleep together, and we first get into our sleep position I feel complete comfort. I love holding him and tangling our legs together. When we are apart I feel like something is missing. As far as sleeping goes, I sleep well either way. But I wake up so much easier in the morning when he's next to me!

How about two strapping men and a dog who insists on sleeping diagonally?
I'm used to this group-sleeping arrangement and if alone I have to hold on to pillows.

I never sleep alone and I'm pretty good about sharing space. A bomb could go off while I'm sleeping and I wouldn't wake up so I can sleep anywhere.

alone. i am pleasantly shocked to see so many others respond "alone". i thought i was in the minority, that people in relationships slept well together because they "fit". cool to know otherwise.

my body pillow is a good substitute though.

I sleep better with someone there. waking up next to your partner (JS) is one of the reason life is great. what more can you ask for.

waking up alone just feels like a empty space of time and feeling.

one of the great perks about sleeping together is the all night cuddling which we both so much like.

Alone! My ex was a cuddler (bless his little heart!) so that part was not a good match...
I envy those who do prefer that however...

For the first ten years or so we slept together, then when poor Bill's snoring got so bad, (one night the dogs woke up shrieking) we went to the doc, who wanted to laser out the uvula. Bill decided he may need that little hanger to help swallow. I agreed. At this time after many years, it was a novelty at first (remember we could each 'renege' at any time heheh), and then had just an every-day kind of feel to it, with a nice kick of course because we , erm, like being in each others' room....

Alone. I can sleep with multiple cats in my bed, but another person in my bed will keep me awake for hours.

If I am sitting too close to someone(s) and I'm tired, I fall asleep on him/her/them. Feeling another heartbeat next to mine just feels right. I don't like sleeping alone...

I sleep better alone. Doesn't matter how cold it is I am always hot in bed. Some sort of internal heater turns on when I sleep. I also am pleasantly surprised to see so many say they sleep better alone.
