My partner and I have purchased the program. The box is before us. Any experiences, suggestions, advice you'd like to share as we get started?

i started it three weeks ago. our gym offers it as a class. its quite challenging, and i already see results. i have a friend who has completed one round of it and she looks AMAZING. she's dropped tons of weight and you can see her muscle mass has increased dramatically. awesome program. dont forget your recovery drink! ;-)
    good luck guys!!!

It's a very challenging program. Don't be afraid to take their advice of hitting the pause button to give yourself a bit longer to recover than they take--it tooks several weeks before I could do the Plyometrics DVD without taking additional breaks.

Don't try to keep up with them if they're going too fast for you. You can do the full set of exercises, then rewind to the start of the next exercise. The people on the tapes have already completed the program--you haven't. It's natural that they're in better shape than you are.

And if something comes up--you get a bad virus, you sprain an ankle, whatever--it's perfectly fine to start the program over again, or repeat a week, or whatever you need.

I am thinking about starting in April as well...though I may need a live trainer for more motivation, but have heard alot of good things about the program, and know of some individuals who have seen some AMAZING resultsicon_exclaim.gif

Do not forget to eat. You need a lot of fuel to keep up with the program. I believe the program comes with meal plan/suggestion and I recommend to follow it. My partner did not eat enough to lose some weight when he just started it but he ended with having a symptom like flu. After eating proper amount of food, it went away.

I am not an advocate for work out supplement but taking some decent muscle recovery drinks/powder would definitely ease on your muscle fatigue during the first cycle of the program. You do not have to purchase what the program recommended though.

    I'm a fan! =)

I take a multi-vitamin once in the morning and once before bed. I do whey protein shakes after my workout. I followed the program religiously. I loved my results! Go to "teambeachbody.com" and sign up. It's free and will track your workouts for each day. It's cool.

Like i1snow said...you don't have to buy the recovery drink that they sell. You can find cheaper and more easily available substitutes.

    Good luck! =)
