It's a tribal version of the Aquarius astrological symbol.

You're 18 - I wouldn't get a tattoo just for the sake of getting one.

    Eh? icon_confused.gif

No, definately almost 25 here, 18 is just the day I was born on - the tattoo is little over a year old now that I got to mark a degree initiation in my fraternity.

I have a black feather tattooed on the inside of my right ankle. I'd like to add to it and have something that is organic and colorful that wraps around my ankle.

I have full sleeve tattoos in many dreams. Yeah, I love them and haven't yet committed to getting one (of many).

If I regret it, I regret it. The tattoo's I've chosen all have specific meanings that I've thought about for quite a lot of time. I've gone through over 5,000 tattoo designs and ideas on websites and with artists that I know. Just because my age is lower than yours doesn't mean that you can connect with me because you were the same age and felt a certain way and assume I do too.

I don't want one for the sake of it, I want one because I want one and I admire them and find them attractive.

PS I realized it's tattoos with no appostrophe...haha.

My tat. Reflects my Scottish heritage. Before you get one make sure you put a lot of thought into it. It's not necessarily there for life anymore. But having them removed hurt like hell and can leave scars. And having it altered later is not always 100% either.

I have been seriously considering one. My grandpa died last year, and I think my tattoo will be some sort of tribute/memorial to him. Jayyp16, you are braver than me. I keep thinking about what the ink will look like in 20-30 years...

    Yikes, such hostility.

Put simply, if you have to ask "What should I get?" then the only acceptable answer should be...

    a garden hose.

    Duh. icon_rolleyes.gif

Now now... at least he, like myself, waited til he was legally of age to get it done and doesn't need his parents to sign for it. This is a good sign that his tattoo will be at least somewhat meaningful AND that he really does want it.

I may have been hostile but I hate when people talk down to me because of my age, it's probably happened to you and you probably felt the same way.

I'm merely lookin for some more ideas or patterns that I may haven't found or thought of myself

Hey, Rekindle, just wanted to let you know, I really like your tattoo. Probably because your skin is real smooth looking and the tatt isn't hindered by too much extravagant design. It's basic but keeps your eye moving. It's very nice. icon_biggrin.gif
