In case you needed another reason to hate FOX this video will throw you into a rage if you're Canadian. Boy was I stunned after watching it. They say so many ignorant things that aren't true.

It was tacky, but we expected that. Bitter jealousy does that to people.

I certainly didn't think it was funny. Especially when four Canadian soldiers came home today in caskets. Bad timing and disrespectful.

People like that that make me ashamed of being an American. If there are any Canadian people reading this, i am deeply sorry for these jackasses comments and insults about you.
I promise you, all Americans are not like that.

Well, Teacherguy, it does make us wonder how guys here would react if a Canadian comedy troupe did the same with the US army.

Hey bena7Xfan88, (by the way that's quite the handle),

These two Canadians didn't take it badly, we felt sorry for our guys and gals that never made it back, we also felt a little crummy that someone would make a joke of Canada giving their armies a break. There's no war going on that's currently requiring the US army to protect us, so why not give them a rest while Canada is not being invaded? Any conflict we're aware of where Canadians and Americans are stationed or fighting side by side we believe we're considered equals and allies. So yeah, kinda tacky, but late night humor is what it is, eh? heheh

Personally I can't stand the show, but it is supposed to be a satire and not taken seriously. It's very tacky but I think it's meant to be, so I wouldn't get too offended.

That clip is pretty disgusting. I came across an article on thestar.com tonight which said FOX actually APOLOGIZED! Hah!

Fox is notorious for airing controversial and ridiculously ignorant anti-Cdn trash. This appears to be no exception.

Well for us it was humor, just because it hit home doesn't mean it wasn't meant to be light-hearted (though they could have eased up on the delivery!)

We laughed but there were some sad sobering moments.

Well look at it this way. Canada never has to worry about these morons coming north of the border.

Apparently, Bill Schulz (the panelist) told the canadians and relatives of those soldiers who died to "lighten the f*ck up" after he was deluged with angry emails.

Now THAT'S funny, that this panelist reacts that way. He never thought any would take offense? Perhaps he wouldn't respect the US army either.

That would actually violate his contract with FOX. I think he's just used to no-one watching his programs.icon_lol.gif

The show is just a bunch of geeks with big egos! Some of it is humor, some of it is just right-wing nutjobs. Fox has the STUPIDEST people in their programming - the worst of them are in this show - so it's not a surprise.

It wasn't a joke at all, and Gutfeld (I think that's his name) said he meant no disrespect... uh then why make fun of the Canadian militiary as well as the Lt.Gen last name..
