With YouTube, its amazing what you see... die hard fans that have altered
the credits of some of our loved long time shows... some are pretty cheezy.. but you have some that almost look better than the originals.

Now being a DALLAS fanatic, I can say that the first "redo" of the 1986-87 season of DALLAS opening credits is excellent.. especially the ending.
The one from the 1989-90 season is kind of poor.

You see these from all kinds of series. Who has time to mess with it?

    #1 Good fan made attempt:

#2 Poor results: (Hell he couldn't even get Ken Kercheval's name spelled right)

Wow, you really are a Dallas fanatic.

Though I'm originally from Dallas, and regularly attended the Christmas events at South Fork, there are two other things to note regarding me and the series. 1. My mother dated Patrick Duffy while they shot the series there. My Aunt prayed for months that it was he that was my father, not "that other asshole you wasted 8 years of your life with." It turned out to be the other asshole. 2. I met Barbara Bel Geddes the year before she died. We were waiting at the pharmacy together and talked for a while. I ended up having forgotten my wallet and when I told the pharmacist I'd be back, she offered to pay for the meds. I resisted, but she wouldn't let me go. It was one of the warmest experiences of my life - it was a low point for me and her warmth probably kept me from giving up. She even sang a bit. LOL!

As for the credits, very good observation...though I don't know how YOU have the time to watch this stuff. icon_lol.gif

I used to like Dallas - especially Leigh McCloskey. Remember him? Look him up - an amazing guy - about 4 years older than I am - what a stud-muffin. Also - Patrick Duffy sans shirt - nice! I also thought Donna Reed made a much better looking mother in the show.

I always thought it odd that all those family members lived together - in one house - and if you really look - it wasn't really a very large house - considering. And why would you live with your Mom and Dad while in your 30s and 40s? Just wondering. A great show though.

So was Dynasty, Falcon Crest and Melrose Place.

I have no idea how that was different than the original. Looks the same to me.

Um, it last 2 minutes and it was on the "recommended for you" list on You tube.... I watched it.

Interesting events with Patrick and Barbara. Very nice that you have your own memories with these fantastic actors...
