    How was your week?
What are you most proud of accomplishing?
Did you make all of your goals, if not, are you going to try again this week?

I finally began softball practice, and I am sore all over because of it. Eric hit a ball and it bounced off of my kneecap, so even my knees are sore. LOL! However, overall i'm much more confident about my ability to play softball for my work team.

I need to clean out my yard for winter this week. I've already done a lot, but there's a lot left to do before the weather tanks. It's hard work. If I get it done, I might reward myself to a couple of slack days at the gym.

How was my week? I'll have to let you know when it's over. Here on the east coast, the week is just beginning.

Gosh, it must be nice to start softball in October! It's almost done here in the Midwest, only one more week of Fall Ball icon_biggrin.gif

I did get alot accomplished over the weekend...leaves raked, hard top put on the Jeep, wood chips put around the bushes, hauled a bunch of dirt to put around the foundation (correcting the grade)

Now, it's back to work...let's see if I can be just as productive. LOL

There isn't much going on in my life thats a project. I work, but thats more like putting in time than actually having to put forth effort. The only thing I'm really working on is sculpting my body. I've been pretty routine with hitting the gym 5-6x each week. The goal is 15 lbs. I'm on track, I'll get there. So yah...things are just going.

So far this monday has been uneventful.

    Happy Monday Guys!

I guess I had the ups and downs kind of mixed results. At the gym, I achieved personal-best achievment goals on every single thng I do, and for me, that meant a lot of good. Elsewhere, the guys on Craigslist failed once again for the umteenth time to offer even a single friend.

Good results from teh gym this week, feeling a lot stronger on the 12 Week Muscle program. Really enjoying it even though it is serving me my arse on a plate.

Downside? My gym partner keeps TXT'ing me with excuses as to why he won't be able to make our sessions. Meh. His loss.

    Happy Tuesday everyone!

Congrats for the success at the gym Lonewolf.

I dont know if personally, i'd look to craigslist for a friend, however i do understand there aren't many options in some communities. It just seems much more geared towards hooking up, in the guise of a reformatted newspaper personal.

    Had a good weekend.

Last week, not so much. Experiments mostly bombed and I hurt my trapezius.

I did find a new yeast mutation though.

LOL, Diverscience is always an interesting read, congrats on the mutation, heal quickly.

Thanks for the thread BHawk icon_biggrin.gif

I had a FRANTIC week and just finished all my class assignments and reports today so I felt pretty accomplished. The last few days were spent volunteering down at the AST Dew Tour finale, that was great but long, and my gym time suffered. So I didn't meet my gym goals and have to restart week 3. I did Day 1 today though and feel back on track!

Really fun to hear about some of the rest of you and what you're working towards!

    Anytime OutofEden.

Personally, I any positive stuff I can find helps me out... and I know i can't be the only one.

FYI my first softball game was a great success. We tied. I batted once, hit a pop fly which was caught, but I consider the game a success because I played and feel more confident for doing so. I'm just hoping it gets easier every time.

I just took a test today... It was pretty hard but I studied all weekend, so I think that I'll be OK. Compared to that, the rest of the week should be great!

Oh, and DriverScience, last week I successfully cloned a lipase gene from a marine bacteria into E. coli... my first gene cloning success!

    Good week last week.

Finally got my shoulder back to the point where I did the full two mile swim Friday without too much discomfort.

The Sox won the ALCS and are headed for the Series.

God is in his heaven and all is right with his world.

    Good week last week...

I completed my first week on my new workout program and nutrition plan, and I haven't felt this energized in quite some time! Who cares if I'm a little sore, right? Its all good! icon_wink.gif

Got my new work schedule in preparation for the holiday season, and its actually better than my current schedule...

And my cat turned 6 months old last Wednesday... icon_biggrin.gif
