A few weeks ago, a teammate and I both went for a ball at the same time. He slipped and ended up sliding into my - elbow first in my pubic area, just above the important stuff.

Tonight I caught his elbow to me left cheek bone.

Thank god the season is almost over.

WOW Timberoo... sorry to hear that.
People do get injured all the time in sports however as you know icon_smile.gif

What is this "season" you talk about ?
Volleyball here has only a few holidays off a year !

    Are you going to Nationals?

I'm nowhere good enough for nationals.

We play through the winter here - late Sept to early April. Then it's time to be outside and enjoy the sun. icon_biggrin.gif

Try wearing body armor that will stop him I betcha from turning you into human road kill. It may restrict you movement a touch though. icon_biggrin.gif

Haha, same thing here. No wonder I'm always sore.

Tim, you just need to yell "Mine" or "I go" louder - or directly in his face. icon_smile.gif

I should have called it, but I'm setter and it was my ball.

Body armor would be a good idea, though. Maybe a helmet, too.

Oh. I see. In that case, you should have yelled "Back Off" instead. icon_smile.gif
