    the trailer is out, and from the looks of it, it could very well be my favorite movie of 2009.



    my intereset was piqued with the opening chords of "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire, and the deal was sealed with the words "inside all of us is...Hope"


    what can I say, I'm a sucker for soppy shit like that.

    lol, I loved this book when I was a kid. With Arcade Fire in the trailer, seems like they are at least trying for an adult audience, I'll hope for the best!

    with Spike Jonze as director and Maurice Sendak as one of the producers, I think the best is going to be the most likely outcome.

    Well after Narnia, Teribithia, and Spiderwick, movies based on kid books will probably become a trend for the next decade, as Harry Potter has almost run its course.

    im thoroughly enjoying the fact that the mosters look like costumes and not straight up CGI. hopefully that's the deal and CGI is at a minimum.
