recently, RJ had an article on tabata. i tried it with a handful of full body exercises and its been one of the toughest things ive done. my routines have been three exercises...ten each of the 20 sec sprint/10 sec rest reps for each exercise. the full body exercises ive done so far have been:

    *squat press with 15lb dumbells
*pushing a sled weighted with 100lbs weight
*squat reverse fly (standing at a cross cable machine, grab handles with opposite hands...like doing bent lateral raises...then squat...raise up and reverse fly as quickly as possible)
    *deadlifts
*long bar lunge press (place the end of a 45lb long bar in a corner...facing corner holing othr end of bar with one hand...lunge on one leg...come back up and press bar with single hand and pass to other hand...then lunge on ohter leg)
*jump rope (full out, fast as i can spin the rope..knees high as possible)
    *pike ups
    *burpees
    *divebombers

can anyone suggest more full body exercises? something advanced? unusual? thanks!

i tend to stick with a basic Tabata of:

    Squats x 8 sets
    Push-ups x 8 sets
    Sit-ups x 8 sets
    Dips x 8 sets
    Burpees x 8 sets

Nothing overly complicated, but by keeping the same routine and doing it every couple of weeks means I can gauge my progress fairly easily.
