Free meals at expensive restaurants, fancy cars to drive for a few months, bottle service at clubs, stays in 5 star hotels, high end designer clothes etc...I understand the whole idea of people using them as marketing tools but still...

In this economy where most people are breaking their necks just to make a buck, shouldn't these people that can supposedly afford these lavish things actually have to PAY FOR THEM?!!! (crazy idea right?)

What does this say about the society we're living in?

    It is very simple.

At the seminars I work for making you rich, the already rich people all say the same thing; " It isn't fair or right but rich people pay a way lower percentage of taxes than poorer folks because the rich are courted by the lawmakers and everyone else."
The point is, the rich get free stuff because THEY are the market for most companies and they have great influence over lawmakers and companies.

Its all about getting their product promoted.

People will want to buy something if they see Brad Bit with it on, or using it.

here's a small glimpse into wayne's world, as in huizenga (he started off with one garbage truck).

if you zoom in, it's the point lot with the orange roof. nice, huh?

in 2008 his tax bill for this one house was $323,422.46.

and here's ruth madoff's home (she married garbage).

if you zoom in, it's the brown roof with the long dock.

in 2008 her tax bill on just this one stolen property was $157,298.

how much did you pay into the public coffers this year? have a free bottle?

edit to add perspective. in order to safely generate the tax money for your house, you would have to set aside about another $8 million to perpetually harvest $323,422 annually, just so you can enjoy that free bottle.

It has nothing to do with the philosophy of the rich or with the worthiness of the poor, it has to do with Marketing. The rich get what they WANT but don't NEED so that the poor can see them with what they WANT and end up thinking they NEED, then justifying a extraordinary price for some stupid pair of sunglasses, a bottle of water, a stay at an overpriced hotel, dancing in some "it" club, etc.
