Ok boyz spring is here, we've been workin our bods in order to go shirtless and the summer collection of new men's swimear will be out shortly.

My question is what style will you be wearing at the beach, pool or just laying in the sun?

The last two years I've gone with the tight boxers. This year I'm gonna go back to the speedo (bikini) style.

Let me know what you'll be wearing.

Yeah, some of us don't think of fitness as a 'cyclical' game and workout consistently regardless of season... icon_cool.gif

Meanwhile, board shorts, baby!! icon_razz.gif My opinion (not that anyone asked!): Very few guys can actually get away with speedos/similarly tight square-cuts and it's RARE that those you see wearing them fall into that aforementioned 'very few' category... Just saying. icon_twisted.gif

those damned tight square cut swimmers should be banned... I enver see a damned guy wearing them who have a freaking arse.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr fat flat fuckers..

The ones in boardies are generally better and if they don't have a fantastic arse at least it helps hide it.. not put it all out there like that hilton bitch

Out of the water, I find board shorts far more comfortable.

In the water, speedos are preferred. They provide less drag, which when I've been swimming laps I definitely notice.

I'm thinking of trying jammers this year, which seem liked they'd avoid the drag issues as well, and be less attention-grabbing than speedos.

I might be a little more daring and get the grey/white stripes instead of the black/white stripes. icon_lol.gif

dork shorts is just a phrase I picked up from a speedo appreciation site I visit (whitespeedos.com). The term cracked me up and it conveys my feelings about long shorts.

And I do wear speedos, but not thongs. I don't like the feeling of having a wedgie all the time.icon_eek.gif

Shorts and T-shirt for me. Maybe denim cutoffs and compression shirt. (like the shorts but similar fabric) I don't know what those shirts are called.

we call'em rashies here, used to protect skin from the sun but also to keep stings from blue bottles, jelly fish and stuff from happening depending on the type

speedos are great if you have the body for them but your proportions need to be pretty good. If thats the case and you really want to look good however, I think speedos have been superseded by the aussiebum super jock swimmers! I saw guys wearing them recently when I was in New Zealand. As they were all beautifully proportioned they looked fantastic.

However, board shorts worn low look great also. But whichever you chose a good tan is essential.

But I have a nice little variety from which to choose, so I'm not certain. When I vacation in May, I plan on getting use out of them all!

Oh and progress has been made on my back and that lil bit of flubber on my sides!
