why are demonstrations being held throughout europe and none in america?
is it simply due to the meeting's location?

don't these losers know obama's giving me my work pay credit this wednesday, so i can get my extra $12 weekly? despite my ineligibility, had i received my $400 for the year, i would've been certain to have saved enough for a new ford f-150.

it may take me 30+ years, assuming future altruistic administrations, but what's reasoning, when we have hope? haven't any of these euro-trash hicks seen shawshank? seriously people, go back to your homes for my sake, housewives of nyc is on tonight.

I think Europeans are just more expressive! icon_biggrin.gif But if things gets worse, I'm sure we will see more of these soon. I'm watching CNBC and CNN right now and it's a frightening thought that people will turn into mobs and throw everything in utter chaos just because of money...

For the last 25 years Anglo-American governments said that a global free market was efficient, self-correcting, stable and good for everyone.

And now it turns out that the world was being run by a bunch of idiots with a vested interest... of course there's protest!

I'm pretty sure they'll come to America as well. At the moment though, the 'Obama effect' seems to be keeping morale high in the USA.

You know you want to listen to this beastin' tune.

I actually liked the original G20. It was a nice, tight little car with great gas mileage and offered a bitchin' sound system and a great guarantee. Cheers, to Infiniti for offering back in the 90's...

    errrrr.....am I on topic?!!!icon_redface.gif

my initial post, a sardonic attempt at general american apathy, may have went over your head (ie why all the hubbub at a plebeian 165 mill bonus when 30 billion was issued 15 days prior to the same company, by the same committee)

    165,000,000 = < 1%
    30,000,000,000

but more importantly, how poised was bethenny last night. hair to the side girls, learn.

^ hahaha, yes it all went completely over my head.

I have a friend who works at the Bank of England, who claims 'not to be very interested in politics'.... I wonder if he feels the same way now there's a big riot going on outside his office.
