Why do older middle aged RJ members think attacking someone's "outness" is a clever rebuttal?

If my face is not on my public pictures does that mean Im in the closet? self loathing? a mormon spy? or could it be something else? like not wanting the creepers messaging u? for some reason a lot of the queens on here think it means something.... pretty pathetic when they need to launch a personal attack to try and discredit others with a differing viewpoint.. thoughts gentleman?

I suspect that being older middle aged has nothing to do with it...

No, he has a point. Every older middle aged RJ member feels this way. He took a poll -- it was true without exception! His blanket generalization is utterly and totally warranted.

I would never attack your outness, as an old creeper myself. Instead, I'll attack that tacky jewelry you're wearing in your Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition pic. Talk about memories from the rectory, eh?

I would just guess that older gays feel they went thru a lot of fighting to advance our society so that gays dont have to hide. So to see a younger person not taking advantage of that advance may evoke a lashing out demanding to know why.

Squarejaw's back....I think. Unless he never really left. Sometimes I'm not so observant. It's undoubtedly because I currently only have half a face.

We should listen to the most wise and learned giant mouse. Or just stare and touch yourself inappropriately like I do.

Double yay. As a wise fomer-former on-and-off RJer told me when I came back... "it's like crack, isn't it?" Recovery program, indeed.

As the OP, I suppose I am guilty of contravening the very principle I have accused a specific demographic of breaking.

Do you see the influence you have on us.... be better examples my older brethren.

My bad for using a sweeping generalization. But in reality there are reasons other than being out or not for not having the ol' face on display.

I, for example, was born with unremovable clown makeup on my face.

But whose crack? Think the most guilt lays in Square Jaw's crack. After he protested being mislabeled as a mouse, gerbil, hamster and wombat, he posted the pic of his backside in that costume to show the alleged "bear" tail. I still say he looks more like a naughty wombat in need of a spankin'. Either way, I name him as my chief enabler.

The best way to ward off the creepers is by posting shirtless pics, obviously.

This is unprecedented. Someone posting on an online forum has examined what he wrote, regretted it, and made amends.

The Internet, as we know it, is over.

    And...just because I have to...it's a BEAR!

I prefer chatting with guys who show their face. I'd rather see a guys face than his abs or ass.

But i fully understand why some people are afraid to show their face... and I can respect that. It's just another sad reality of being gay in a world influenced by social conservatives.... that is, unless tere is another reason why you are not showing your face.

It don't bother me much... I'm so used to seeing headless bodies now... I have gotten used to it! icon_smile.gif
