and the guitar player blows me out of the fucking water. icon_sad.gif

oh well, looks like it's rhythm and backup vocals for me.

It's fun to play music and jam, and they're all into some classic rock stuff so that's good too.

Here's some music we're playing, I'll update this if we ever load anything online/get gigs/etc.

Breakdown - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Mary Jane's Last Dance - Ditto
Feel Like Making Love - Bad Company
    How Long - ACE
Cold Shot - Stevie Ray Vaughn
    Mustang Sally - The Commitments
Jesus Just left chicago - ZZ Top
    Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Sweet Home Alabama - Ditto
Two Tickets to paradise - Eddie Money
Born to Be Wild - Steppenwolf
Hard To Handle - Black Crowes
She talks to angels - ditto
    Evil Ways - Santana
Can't get enough - Bad Company
    Cheap Sunglasses - ZZ TOp
Hey Hey My My - Neil Young
Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh (either myself or the other guitarist needs to get a talkbox for that one)
Hurt So Good - John Mellencamp
    Girls Got Rhythm - AC/DC
    Wonderful Tonight- Eric Clapton
All Along the Watchtower- Jimi Hendrix
Turn the Page - Bob Seger
    Proud Mary - CCR
Johhny B. Goode - ? (I forget who did it originally)

and I'm getting them listening to some newer stuff. THe lead singer is hispanic so we're going to ttry and do some los lonely boys, maybe some more recent rock stuff that I'd think they'd like; dinosaur Jr., or some indie ish stuff maybe.

These guys just want to play, and that's what matters. The last group I was in, the singer was too worried about costumes and looking like david bowie on stage. (which isn't a bad thing; if you're david bowie.)

unfortunately no, as our singer definitely doesn't have the range for it.

True... you are a bit more classic rock for that. I'd still go to a bar if you guys were playing.
