Is it just me or is it painfully awkward to see someone running outside shirtless who is really out of shape? ...I guess we should just be happy there doing something...

No way.. I give them props for going out and running. icon_cool.gif

Just check back later, and they won't be out of shape anymore.

Well there are plenty of out of shape guys running without their shirts on but thank God there is one of these that run by every once in a while ....

Not really. Some of us like guys with a bit of beef to em. I'd rather see a guy with meat shirtless than a skinny boy shirtless. Either way, they're probably way more comfortable than those wearing shirts. icon_smile.gif

I am not out of shape. I don't have visible abs, but I am pretty easy on the eyes. But I rarely run outdoors shirtless because I am a bit insecure, which is something I am working on. A great walrus of a man running with just a pair of short shorts and a smile, kudos to him for not letting the little shit in life bother him.

Whenever I see someone running shirtless... or seeing a guy shirtless for that matter, I first say, "lets check him out".. and if he's overweight I usually make some unfortunate comment.

I think you can do whatever you want, especially on your own property, but
if you are going to run without a shirt, you had better be prepared to be handed comments (good or bad)...

Now.. I wonder whats said when I mow my lawn with just my jean cut offs.. no shirt?

You keep wondering that. Maybe you should take a survey of your neighbors. Do you know how to use Word to make something typographically pleasing? I could help, if you need it.

I think it's great whatever the size that they are out doing something. I was watching lots of couples out last night jogging and walking dogs as I sat and drank Mojitos. I was a bit guilty but the 2nd drink cured me of that.

I think, whatever it takes to spare a shirt. Most likely created in a third-world sweatshop. Come to think of it, pants have been taking lots of hits lately too. Skidmarks and stuff.

It's true that I'd much rather meet a guy while running with cut pecs and abs. I run shirtless weather permitting. Actually, I don't often see too many out of shape guys running shirtless. So they must be keeping their shirts on until they get in shape!

There's a guy in my neighborhood who is not exactly svelte and he runs shirtless all the time. For hours on end, just trotting along listening to his ipod as he does circuits around the block. At first he was very overweight and not all that pleasant to see ... but you know what? All those hours running are paying off for him and he's dropped quite a bit of weight.

I say kudos to him. First, he's got balls for being comfortable enough to run w/o a shirt especially with the extra weight. Second, he's running farther and longer than my lazy ass ever could. Even though I'd rather see some cut, hot, guy running shirtless I have to give this guy credit.

Soooo ... when you see some overweight guy out running shirtless, keep in mind that he's actually doing something that will make a difference in his physique and, if it really bothers you, just don't look. Simple as that.

I don't go outdoors without a shirt on. I prefer cold weather so it can be long sleeved. I don't see this changing.

I couldn't care less. In shape or shapeless, just cover yourself. Unless you're on the beach.

Think of all that water and electricity you save by not wearing clothes. Wow, given how Green I'm becoming, I may be selling myself on becoming a nudist!

Agreed, with tongue firmly in cheek. But to be clear, Insatiable, based on this requirement, I wouldn't be uncomfortable with you running shirtless in my neighborhood. Just be sure to give me a heads up so I can come watch.

I just say remember everyone had to start somewhere, noone is born with abs and arms that will crush pineapples. I say instead of the rude comments, encourage them who knows they may turn out to be the hottest thing on the block.
