I got an iPhone and noticed that match.com has a mobile app now, which for me is convenient because I'm rarely home on my computer to 'hang out' as much as I used to be. The mobile site is very user friendly, almost Facebook-like. I have asked some people and they liked it, but they're not gay. I am guessing a lot of gay people don't really go for match.com when there is gay.com but I've been very disappointed in how they run the show (which is why I joined this, but nothing ever happens on here either). And no, match is not cheap - nearly a hundred bucks for only six months. For straight people who have thousands of choices within a 50 mile radius is one thing, but I am finding for gay men, it seems to be the exact same guys on every gay website there is. I do a search and there they are - the exact same guys I saw on gay.com, on realjock, on gaydar, etc...I'm not looking to pay to see the same guys I already see on the sites I'm having no luck on. Since match seems so popular mainstream, I am wondering - has anyone here tried it? What did you think?
