I know, old. But, princes and bears, oh my!
LOL, that was hot. I remember wanting to see it when it came out, but I'm a few years late. Brad Pitt and those Arabic boys brought the beauty, but I really liked all that good ole bear testosterone. Had a hard on through out the duration actually.

Brad Pitt with the whole blond warrior thing, damn. That was hot, lol.

Brad Pitt exuded sex in the movie, but Eric Bana is just plain hot in Troy.

Brad Bitt was pretty to look at, and if you just saw him alone, you could believe he knows how to act. But then you see him in scenes opposite Peter O'Toole, and Eric Bana, and you realize how much he has to learn, besides being a Hollywood Star. Nice guy, though, does good things for others off-camera.

Man, Eric Bana is the living end! Whew, whichever way he wants it with this one! I thought Pitt looked pretty in Troy but seemed remote and asexual...give me Pitt's Tyler Durden any day.

Oh, did I mention Eric Bana is hot hot hot! icon_twisted.gif

Lol. Then I'd have been guaranteed to go and see it.

I'm looking forward to the follow-on Epic Homoerotic Zach Efron Vehicle.

Perhaps Pitt had to balance the homosexual relationship angle with his cousin, the one who died pretending to be Achilles when he fought Hector. His irrational response in challenging Hector afterwards reinforced the Homerian suggestion that their relationship was very deep (AHEM...) Plus Achilles knew himself to be a tragically doomed man, per his mother's prophecy.

Still, I found Pitt's interpretation interesting, if not inspired. And he can take off his loincloth in my tent any day... icon_wink.gif

In the context of the film, who would you prefer to be hacked to pieces by? icon_razz.gif

I'd want Brad to do it, because he showed zero emotion when he killed people in that movie. Nothing worse then dying with some jerk off sneering at you. (LOL, I need to get layed).

I think Troy was unintentionally made very 'homoerotic'.....They really sensualized Brad Pitt and his character Archilles....He looked fantastic in every way. It made me jealous that I wasn't the one held captive by him - that bitch! ; ) I recently rented it on Blue Ray....long movie..but worth all the eye candy - including Eric Bana - damn!

Shame that so much of the original story was lost in "Hollywood."

For example, Brad Pitt's character sought revenge not for the murder of his "cousin" but of his lover. Achilles was bisexual. Seemed like that was taken out and changed to make it more palatable for a Hollywood audience.

    Shame.

This is in reference to the "Has Brad Pitt been in any good movies" comment:

Have none of you seen Legends of the Fall, A River Runs Through It, or The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford?

Sure a lot of his other work has been mediocre but these three films are excellent
