What the hell is CRS, your asking !!!! READ ON !!! Some days are worse than others of course, and some days it doesn't even bother me at all. But today I got a case of it when I was talking to a friend on my cell phone, I put it down just after the conversation, and 20 minutes later, do you think I could find where I'd put that damn phone??? NADDA. I finally called my neice with my house land line phone, and told her to call my cell number so I could fine it. I had set it down in the bathroom next to the electric raizor by the sink. So what is CRS ??? C=Can't R=Remember S=Shit----CAN'T REMEMBER SHIT !!!! LOL !!!!!!!!!!! Help me feel better guys, do you ever missplace something, forget a name or maybe go to the refrigerator and cannot remember what you came for??? LOL !!!! Tell something you did in a forgetful CRS moment.

It's o.k. I often can't find milk in the refrigerator in the morning. Simply because the previous day I had left it in the cupboard.icon_rolleyes.gif

I couldn't find my cell phone for 2 days. It was in my tennis sneaker.
    Does that count?

What foods are best for enhancing memory?

"It's too simple to single out our particular food (or foods) as being "best" for memory. Memory is too complicated a process, and it requires a greater variety of nutrients than any single food can provide.

Since remembering involves a good bit of brain activity, and brain activity puts special emphasis on a healthy nervous system and healthy blood flow, all steps you can take to improve your blood flow, circulation, and nervous system function may end up contributing to better memory. Because we feel that the answer to your question about memory is more inclusive than just fruits and vegetables, we are going to answer it from that perspective.

A first important step would be upgrading the overall fat quality in your meal plan. You'll want to focus on plant foods like walnuts, flaxseeds, cold water fish like salmon, and oils like extra virgin olive oil, because the types of fat contained in these foods help keep your blood vessels and nerve wrappings healthy. ... "

"B-complex vitamins are another particularly important category of nutrient when it comes to brain function and memory. Many of the nervous system messengers that send signals back and forth between our nerves (called neurotransmitters) cannot be synthesized without the presence of B vitamins. Vitamins B6, folate, and choline would be especially important here, even though all of the B-complex vitamins would play a supportive role."

I would recommend FRS...it is the whole B complex, plus C, E and quercetin. I have mentioned FRS before. It has really had an impact on my physical and mental activity. http://www.frs.com/

"A place for everything, and everything in its place."
That should cure about 90% of the problem if you choose a place to put things, then ALWAYS put them in that place. I'm 50% German. So, everything has to be organized. LOL.
As far as, "Now what did I come in here for ?" , sorry, I can't help you.

Sounds like you are having a "senior moment". Two thirds of people over the age of fifty have memory loss. It is important to exercise the brain as one gets older. When this happens, it is normal to fear that maybe this is a dementia like Alzheimer's disease.
I included a link from an article from Harvard telling you what is normal forgetfulness versus abnormal forgetfulness. Also there is a discussion on brain exercises.
There is scientific evidence that the antioxidants in blueberries may slow down the development of Alzheimers. Fish is actually brain food and fish oil maybe helpful. I eat blueberries every day for this reason. I also take fish oil but it is more for heart and triglyceride benefits. Also there is an article in WebMd from January that coffee may reduce dementia by 65%. There are some other very good things you can do to prevent dementia but I forgot what they wereicon_lol.gif

Forgetfulness in younger guys is usually a result of too many things on the mind at once. Or it can be related to stress, fatigue, overwork, anxiety or depression
