ummmm... shouldn't these sorts of things have been done BEFORE the California vote? Sounds like a day late and a dollar short.
The issue's been decided, and the California Supreme Court will shortly be announcing its ruling to keep Prop 8 in place. Nice to protest that failure, but it'd be better called a "Day of INdecision" to commemorate the miserable failure of California's gay leaders.
What California gays need are some politically savy leaders to guide this to a vote again in about 5 years, when demographic & political changes will hopefully have shifted the balance away from anti-gay Republicans and their Religious Right allies.
It's now recognized that California gay leadership badly mishandled this election, but the same old tired approaches (and some of the same tired old leaders) are still trying to bang their tin drums to little effect. I'll recognize a Day of Decision when someone has something to decide.
