The news just broadcasted this wonderful story of a 98 yr old woman who was pulled from the rubble, after being buried for 30 hrs.

Asked how she managed to survive? She said she spent the hours crocheting.icon_lol.gif Her endearing story of survival is a continued testament of mine that OLD PEOPLE ROCK.

    Bless her little, old soul.

I have an intense fear of earthquakes and being buried alive. icon_confused.gif Probably because of my claustrophobia and when I was younger I saw a picture of the aftermath of an earthquake. I think it was Japan or something. And it was gruesome to say the least - the remains of a multistory building with corpses covered in concrete dust.

Great story though, and I hope they're still looking for survivors.
