What is a gay storm? Does it rain pink chiffon?

Apparently in a straight storm it rains half-truths, fear and manipulation. Break out your umbrellas!

    I'm ready.
......................................................pink raincoat and boots, adorable isn't it? Pictures, Images and Photos

To the doctor, why even practice medicine, just pray to god when someone starts puking blood.

To the latino woman....stop bein a drama queen!

To the mom, gay sex/marriage/being gay is normal, if society realizes that, it will have to be taught just like straight values are taught even though some of the student population will grow up to be gay. If you don't like it, super glue your kids ears shut.

To the old guy, hey cutie, we're here! And you don't live in a bubble.

To the church guy who spends only half the time spent on his knees praying, come out!

To the chunky black guy: this is a matter of rights and effects everyone anyway.

Um, my only question to all of these people is, "how does this effect you at all?"

Oh, wait. They're fake people reading a script. http://www.boingboing.net/2009/04/09/fake-people-tell-fak.html

    Nevermind.

overly dramatic.. and i agree, same sex marriage doesn't effect any of them. Your child will still learn about same sex marriages and gays anyways, so no point in trying to hide it.

that is so stupid, it bothers me that people are so inclined to limit rights and discriminate a group that ultimately doesn't impact them at all.

That seems to make the message extremely malicious.

    Hahahahaha!

    Hyperbole at its finest!

I wonder what freedoms and choices they are loosing though. I noticed that no one clarified that.

As for the education argument... I can only speak for California; but we have been able to speak about gay rights, marriage, etc. in classrooms since sexual orientation was placed within the nondiscrimination articles of out constitution. So... um... that has been going on for quite a while - and still no storm, or brimstone, or fissures opening and pouring forth hordes of winged demons to devout the children!

    Scarabboy,
You know what I don't understand about the gay marriage argument like that by those people? Are they ok with domestic partnerships being taught then?

If there is a slippery slope in regard to marriage like people being able to marry anything then, like with multiple wives, an animal, or a child, why don't they say the same thing about domestic partnerships?

If you allow gays to have domestic partnerships, then why stop there? Why not allow people to have domestic partnerships with 3 people, or 5? Why can't a person have a domestic partnership with a child then? Or a cow?

See, it just shows that it's BS arguments to begin with and just hostility towards gay people being married.

Where is the anti-domestic partnership commercial on t.v. of a little girl saying to her mommy she can have a domestic partnership with a princess?

Would they be ok with the tale of two princes being domestically partnered instead of married?

I can't stand the anti-gay arguments, they are so many things wrong with them. The only people they convince are the ones that get emotionally stirred by them. It really makes the religious people making those arguments seem so 'evil', they'll do anything, it doesn't matter what might be good about their religion, they just step all over it's credibility in the process, and they don't even realize it.

Really vague and sickening to watch. They are so adamant and afraid for no good reason. It is a bit chilling, you'd think they were describing a catastrophe of global proportion.....how terrible it is to treat people equally and try to understand them....oh the horroricon_eek.gif.
