A few facts about Rockstar Energy Drink. It was co-founded by conservative radio host Michael Savage. It's current CEO is Russell Weiner, Michael Savage's son and a co-founder of the "Paul Revere Society" here in the States.

A few facts about Michael Savage. Better yet, here are a few comments directly from the mouth of Michael Savage:

"You want me to tell you what makes me sick? When I see two puffy white males kissing each other, I want to puke. When I see two women kissing each other, on the lips, as lovers, I want to vomit."

"When you hear "human rights," think only one thing: someone who wants to rape your son. And you'll get it just right. OK, you got it, right? When you hear "human rights," think only someone who wants to molest your son, and send you to jail if you defend him. Write that down, make a note of it."

"...children's minds are being raped by the homosexual mafia, that's my position. They're raping our children's minds."

"You know what autism is? I'll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is."

Disgusting, right? Michael Savage is reaping profits from the selling of Rockstar Energy Drink.

How about some facts about Savage's son, Russell Weiner?

Fact #1: At a Rockstar-sponsored concert at Concord Pavillion in 2004, Russell Weiner warmed up the crowd by chanting "Who's heterosexual and proud? If you're not, hopefully you will be soon."

Fact #2: Russell Weiner co-founded the conservative Paul Revere Society (with his father). In 2006, the organization had its tax-exempt status revoked.

Fact #3: Among the positions championed by the Paul Revere Society, and presumably by Russell Weiner? (1) Support for traditional marriage only; (2) deportation of all illegal immigrants; (3) eliminating bilingual education in all states; (4) requiring health tests for all foreign born people; (5) ending affirmative action; (6) closing off the borders; and (7) make tax cuts permanent and end class action lawsuits.

Russell Weiner, as CEO of Rockstar, makes a boatload of money off the beverage.

Do you like your money going to a family that champions hate? Do you want your money going to a man who says that autism is a made up disease? To a man who says that all LGBT people are sodomites who deserve to get AIDS?

If the answer is no, then don't buy Rockstar Energy Drink. And if you see a club - especially an LGBT club - serving it, please say something to the management.

If you want more information, check out http://www.thetruthaboutrockstar.com . The site isn't updated terribly frequently, but it has some basic information about the sordid story of the family that makes millions off of Rockstar Energy Drink.

MSNBC fires Michael Savage after anti-gay comments

The popular radio talk show host who did a weekend TV show for the cable channel referred to an unidentified caller to his show Saturday as a "sodomite" and said he should "get AIDS and die."

Wow. That's just sad. I never drank that stuff, simply because of the cheezy name. But now there's a better reason not to drink it.

Thanks for the heads up on this!!! We have a cooler at work where employees will submit to me for approval a list of things they would like the company to stock for them. Rockstar Energy Drink WAS one of them. Come Monday I will have it tossed down the drain and its containers sent to the recycling bins. I will also put out a memo to the employees stating that this beverage is no longer allowed!
    Cheers,

Also, recently, Pepsico contracted to distribute Rockstar. Tragic because Pepsi has been supportive of the gay community.

So then let's get a writing endeavour to inform Pepsico. Corporations do anything to avoid negative publicityicon_exclaim.gif

I don't drink any of this crap, never have and certainly now after this morsel of information, never will.....

While Pesico may be the distributor, I am not able to locate anything on the PEPSICO website that affiliates them with ROCKSTAR.

I would suggest boycotting of the varous races and events that ROCKSTAR sponsors around the country.....this may "hurt" some of our more race oriented members too!
Look at the website and see the events they sponsor!.... http://www.rockstar69.com/events.php

Definitely some high energy, "extreme sports " type events and concerts, etc...Damn, some looks pretty cool and interesting too!....My politics or my entertainment?icon_question.gificon_confused.gificon_cool.gif

Hate and acid? Certainly don't fill it with love and understanding.

Wouldn't it be better to just return it to the distributor and get your money back? After all, Rockstar will still be getting if you toss it.

well damn..... one of the guys in my fraternity house is the campus rep for Rockstar, and they ship him cases of hundreds of free cans every month to distribute- it amounts to endless free rockstar to everyone in the house. i drink two cans a day of the diet rockstar- few calories, tons of vitamins, no sugar..... this makes me sad.

The thing that really sucks is that Rockstar Zero actually tastes pretty good and has good kick to it.

I've been drinking this one lately and I reeeaally love it.

Well, logically Czarod, you can still drink it when it's free. The campus rep is distributing it because the company hopes to get students used to drinking it and thus becoming paying consumers. By drinking the free samples, you ensure that they continue to spend the money to provide the free samples, while also preventing them from turning a profit by you becoming a regular paying consumer.

logicallythen czard should up his consumption making them spend money to produce and be even less likely to get sales from the free beverages because he is consuming what a possible later paying customer would normally get

And you don't even have to drink it, just dump it.

That comes out of their marketing budget. Not their budgeted revenues.

What the hell is the big deal? I personally don't like rockstar, but if i did, i'd still drink it. You guys need to realise that there is more to life than being gay. i never thought that so many guys that can bench 200+ pounds could also be a bunch of pansy ass, cry baby faggots. Buy some kleenex, STFU, and get over it.
