My dad lives in your country and I was wondering if any of you guys live by him because I head up north every summer for at least a couple of weeks. He lives 10 minutes north of Victoria on Vancouver Island. Anybody know some chill people around that area? It would be nice to do something besides riding horses and relaxing (although not complaining), while I am up there.

As well, grammar nazis actual question for you to answer would the proper place for that comma be after the brackets or before? (actually asking so I can know for the future)

I'm from Canada and I know Bob, he lives just behind the tree - the maple tree and not too far from the mountain.

    Hey collegestudent86,

We live right on the coast and can see the gulf islands (but not the big one where Victoria is). We're hoping a few Vancouverites will see this topic and post here along with some Victoria area guys. Victoria has a gay community along with these:

    http://gayvictoria.ca/

    and http://www.vicstart.com/gay-lesbian-friendly/

    and even http://www.gayvan.com/victoria_nanaimo.htm

    Take a peek!

LMAO....I love that. I used to work for the DOT here eons ago and my job was to take complaints from the public about roads or right-of-ways... questions about repairs or encroachments, etc... typically, someone would call in with some legitimate complaint and when I asked what road (out of over 1,000 in my district alone) they were talking about would say "By the Dairy Queen" and I would say "Oh yeah, I know exactly where. We only have one Dairy Queen in the state." After a moment of silence they would laugh nervously and say "Sorry, it's route such-and-such." icon_lol.gif
