Someone in your life that you possibly regret not taking to the next step?
Where is he now? Would you ever try to find him?
If you don't want to tell the story perhaps a simple "yes" or "no" answer?

I will post mine tomorrow ....it is too late on the east coast and have to get to bed....but I thought this might be an interesting thread.

no, people come into my life and people leave it, for what ever reason they have left they are now gone and they go with my love and joy in hopes that they find there happiness and joy.. if they come back into my life, all the better, if not so be it..

He has periodlically appeared in my life a few times when I have thought about him.

If this happens again, I may just have to force myself to Pounce.

Well there hasn't be anybody to "get away." I dumped my ex, and I would lead a perfectly happy life to never see him again. And every guy I've liked, I've asked out, so they haven't been able to get away; they just say no.

Honestly, while the thought has crossed my mind at times, I just think it's a waste and the actions would only be holding me back. Sometimes, we just have to move on 100% no matter what could've been - for our health!

For the most part the "ones that got away" got back in touch somehow. Still remain friends to the day all but one are straight and just really good friends. The other is an ex but we have moved beyond that and still hold feelings for each other but like who we are with and where we are.

I would have to say if there does happen to be one some day, which im sure there will be I will probably put an effort into it. Of course you must try to keep it below the creepy stalker level.

My "one that got away" is no longer part of my life because he didn't want me as part of his life. So I'm happy to return the favour. I think about him now and then, don't really know what he's up to, not sure if I really care. But I think he missed out on something more than I did because while he played a big role in my life at one point, it has become so much more since he decided to leave. And I think he had to leave for it to be that way.

There are several people I would like to track down. Of course if I did, with real intent, then the result would be pretty messy. Now where did I put my chipper-shredder?

That is EXACTLY my philosophy, and it is easy to do.

Funny you should start this thread, because I'm at the cusp of having one slip away right now. Dream man, straight-curious, cute, unbelievable body, chilled out and smart. Been fantasizing about him for a year and then BAM, he ends up in my bed two weeks ago. BUT despite the fantastic time we're having, he's got flights to leave the country for good off to other side of the world with a job ready and no plans of returning in the near future. Would I look him up when and if I move there too? Definitely - I just hope he'd still be into me and not married or something; but there's no way I'm hounding him long-distance. Normally, my philosophy is 'If it's meant to be, it'll happen', but damn this guy turns me on so much I'm reconsidering that philosophy. haha!

He lives in Hawaii now, and the only reason I know that is because a friend mentioned it when I said certain songs remind me of him.

only for friendship purposes; otherwise, no. it'd be self destructive to seek anything more than friendship or a gauranteed free fuck. know what they say, "been there, done that".

I couldn't put it any better than this.
There were two guys who came into my life at two turning points long ago. If I hadn't loved them I wouldn't be where I am. It proves that relationships don't have to be happy ones to change your life for the better.
I hope they've had good lives but there's no wish to find them.

A life has room for many loves, so why dwell on the old ones? Keep an eye out for the next one instead. It may last a minute, it may last two decades. But repeating the past means you didn't learn from it.

Interesting Topic. There have been a couple of guys I wish I had a better clue they were interested and have looked for them. But the lesson learned is to live in the moment becuase you may miss an opportunity. I missed two great guys cause I wasnt payin attention.
