Creepy

I have just started venturing out into the 'gay' (I prefer to call it 'normal' bar scene and was hit on the other night by a guy who I could just only describe as 'creepy'.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the attention but when he started talking about how I looked like his late lover (late being dead) it just creeped me out.

I was polite and chatted with him a little while longer while looking for a convienient out.

I didn't want to be rude but I was just not ready for that.

Sorry, Chuckmeister, but your thread has given me a little chuckle. icon_smile.gif

If you are just starting out on your adventures on the scene, you have much to look forward to heeheh. I'm sure you are a nice, level headed guy, but don't expect to find a whole world of guys like yourself out there. There are all sorts of guys on the scene, with all sorts of issues, hangups, freaky stuff, pleasures etc.

Just enjoy it and have a larf!

I remember a time my bf and I went out on a Friday night for a drink and a very large - in height and stomach - blocked me up against a wall and told me I had 'the same, sweet high cheekboned smile as Garth Brooks'.

I don't mind the chuckle at my expense. In fact when my best friend and I talked about it the next day we both laughed as I looked over my shoulder.

I will be ready the next time.

CHUCK!!! You're home and out of the hospital!

Damn, now I have someone to share the nightmare stories with, again.

Yeah, sometimes it's creepy, my friend. Then there are what I call the "Andre Moments" when some really sexy young guy just walks over to you, grabs you, and sticks his tongue halfway down your esophogus (sp?) and you nearly pass out from overwhelming sexual stimulation (whew, makes me light headed just thinking about that kiss).

Have a blast! I know I haven't been out much longer than you, but I've sure had a lot of experiences, some good and some bad, but all really interesting.

    Love ya, Bud,
    Steve

Chuck, your story reminds me of one from when I was about 19.

We had an 18+ gay bar here, and one night there was a porn star stripping... later on, after the bar closed, he started following me around. Finally, he started hitting on me, and telling me how much I looked like his dead lover. Totally creeped me out too!

Even with the creepy pursuits i am envious of the fact that you get to go to gay bars.

The dead part got me. Not, "hey my lover left me, my lover and I split, but my lover is dead."

I'm sorry for laughing, but this story makes me giggle. I recently had a guy hit on me using the "I'm-a-mysterious-sexy-loner" angle. I don't get hit on all that often, so I welcomed it, and I did everything I could not to laugh in his face. I think his exact words were. . . "I don't like to stay in one place for too long, my address is wherever I happen to be. I like to walk alone." Yeah. . . .
