Straight car for the queer guy

Which car do you drive? What car would you be willing to pay for if you could afford? What car would you want, money no object?

I know this is a really breeder-ish subject...but I love cars, especially hot cars driven by hot guys.

I drive a Chevy Corvette; if I could afford a Lamborghini Diablo Roadster, real or replica, I would buy it; I can't say money no object because cars are important enough to me that any I could afford I would buy, so even if money is an object, there is no car I like above my willingness to purchase because I feel it's 'too expensive for a car.'

    ---

I know the stereotype is a Jeep Wrangler/Rubicon or a VW Beetle. Still, I'd like to imagine stylish gay guys with decent income levels driving Corvettes, Vipers, Porsche Boxters/Caymans/911s, BMW 6 series/Z4s, Nissan 350zs, Mercedes SLK 280s and 380s...

All sporty, stylish vehicles, fit for the not-necessarily-family man to look amazing in. These mostly retail in the 50-70 thousand range, but can be found used for 20-35 thousand range (and who cares if it's used if it's amazing?).

Right now I am driving a clunker 1999 Ford Taurus.

Next year when I return from the Unholy Land I've already picked out a Nissan 350Z as my reward to myself for being shot at by nutjobs.

    I drive a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 longbed clubcab 4x4 360V8 5-speed manual

However, for six years I did drive a 1982 Porsche 911SC with twin Weber 3-BBL carbs. The desire to own a car like that was satisfied, so I sold it. What I'd like now is a small electric vehicle capable of highway speeds for zipping to town and back.

I'd never heard before that Jeep Wranglers were a stereotypical "gay" vehicle. I don’t get the connection. Feel free to enlighten me.

NorthFI - I've heard jeeps are "cruising" cars. All from personal accounts of people from SoCal. I guess its sort of an urban legend stereotype.

I drive a stealth hybrid. My next car will be the Honda CR-Z or whatever they might label it.

If I could have any car it'd be the new Evo's. Lambo matching performance without the premium price. Plus its always nice to show up the american muscle crowd. icon_cool.gif

Any dumbass with enough money can buy a 250,000 car. But only the smart ones will spend 35,000 for a car just as capable.

My 350Z will most likely be in the model year 2009. It all depends upon when I get back from Iraq.

Dream car for me has always been BMW's, any year...any model. For me it is one of those cars that just smell of success and style.

The Z however, is my inner child wanting to play and showoff.

I think anything "sporty" or "butch looking" is stereotypical.. But not fast cars like Vettes, Vipers, Exotics. Here in Az there are a lot of trucks, Toyota Tacomas, and econimical cars like Scions, Kia's etc Those are all pretty popular with Gay boi's..
Full size pickups (1/2 ton), mercedes and BMW's for Gay boy's
Big trucks, (3/4 ton and up) Duallys, Huge SUV's, S class Mercedes & 7 series BMW's For the Gay MAN..
No 4X4's, or like I said anything fast not even Mustang GT's..
Now I am curiouse why that is?

I own a 05 Subaru Legacy GT, it is plenty fast and gets me complements from lesbians (multiple times). I happy with it and don't really desire anything else even though I could if I wanted.

Judging by my personal experience locally the Honda Civic seems to bee the default car of the gay male with a few jeeps and Mini Coopers mixed in.

I've got a '96 Hyundai Accent right now... hate it.

If I had the cash? Dodge Viper.

Honestly I don't know much about cars, all I know is I've always liked those.

    4 cyl or V6?

Funny info is the base 4 cyl is going to become the "quick and agile" 2.4 engine on the next Corolla and Matrix. Funny how one cars slow base engine is anothers fast engine lol.

Yar'olla lol. If you ever come alongside the next Matrix tell the driver he overpaid for his crap icon_cool.gif

Well right now I'm driving a '92 Honda Accord with 262,000 miles on it. No air conditioning, manual locks/windows, hole in muffler, tape on mirror, broken windshield washer, sketchy brakes… its ghettoness is unrivaled. But at least it's a stick shift! icon_biggrin.gif

As far as what I would actually WANT to drive, I think my first new car after college will be a Volvo S40 or an Audi A3.

Top 5 picks for when I win the lottery:
    1: Aston Martin DB9
    2: Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG
    3: Ford GT
    4: Audi TT
    5: BMW 6 Series

Want lesbian? How about my '01 white 4wd Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab *with* toolbox and HRC sticker. When my hair was longer and under a cap, it looked like I had a mullet. I'd disappoint so many dykes on the freeway once they caught up and realized who they were scoping. Sorry ladies!

I really want a new Tundra, even if I was flush with cash. Those are NICE.

I drive a Mercedes 500SL '92 and I love it. It really makes me very happy to drive it. And when I'm not in my car I'm in my partners Rolls Royces or Bentley. I'm just very lucky and I enjoy going out for a ride!icon_lol.gif

Funny automakers say they can't meet future MPG requirements.

Can't or won't? I think this thread proves just how much money there still is to be made in gas guzzlers.
