Sean Hannity offered to be water-boarded for charity to military families. Keith Olberman has pledge $1,000 for every min. Hannity is water-boarded. Do you think it will actually happen?

To get a taste of a pompous gasbag being waterboarded, here is Chris Hitchens

    Yeah, I do.

Olbermann wrote a huge check to the Special Olympics based on each lie that Palin told while campaigning, if memory serves.

a minute??? Most can't even last more than 15 seconds without freaking out....and they have an option. Didn't you see the video of the Playboy reporter? He was all cocky and barely lasted a few seconds. I'd put up 10,000 that he doesn't even last 30seconds.

I'd love to see that, although it's not really comparable to a prisoner's situation since these celebrities can terminate the experience at any time they choose. Part of the horror is being out of control of your experience.

I worked with him and his loverly wife 15 years ago. Wonderful, wonderful people.

Is this some kind of sick joke?

What's wrong with America? Fox News, that's what.

I'd be happy to support this for the simple fact that all those twisted Fox News viewers out there who support(ed) the Bush regime will be forced to watch one of their ilk, Sean Hannity, actually be tortured for charity. Playing down water boarding by making it the butt of jokes on Fox News is so typical of those morons. On the other hand, this act of stupidity could actually make the situation much worse for Bush and his cronies.

I agree with Tapper here, if this comes back to bite Fox in the arse, and make it worse for Bush and his merry band of repuGlican dolts, it is bloody wonderful! (Plus just the bonus of seeing Hannity in that position is worth ANYTHING!)
    Cheers,
    Keith

We don't always agree, but contrary to how I've come across at times, I'm not that big of a prick. I know you're not a terrible person, either. Can we at least agree to disagree at times, wipe the slate clean and start over? If not, cool. At least we share the same dislike of conservative puppet masters and monkey wranglers like Rupert Murdoch.

If so, hi, I'm Dave. icon_smile.gif

I think anyone that supported this kind of thing needs to have it done to them. That includes Bush and Cheney. If we don't stop it now, another Dr. Mengele, or Dick Cheney will come along and try it again every time they think that somebody has information that they want. I hope there is a special place in hell for people that support this sort of thing.
After 8 years of torturing terrorists, we're still at Code Orange, we still have to take our shoes off at airports, we still don't know where Osama bin Laden is, and we haven't stop exploiting the Middle East for their oil. So, what did we really learn from it???
If you torture terrorists long and hard enough, you become one.

Now there's something to chew on for awhile.

My views on Tapper were not personal, but rather on his views on certain things. Not everyone will agree with everyone. I'm as guilty as the next for getting over zealous in my responses. (Besides....look at his profile. You can't be angry at him! LOL!)

I don't care who pays what to whom, I just want to see the uncut footage of Hannity pussing out when he feels like he's drowning. So ideally this would be administered by actual interrogators.

Also I wonder what effect, if any, it will have on his hair. I'm guessing mere water isn't going to do anything to that thing.

Too bad this jerk can't have his personality altered by waterboarding.
I'll be waiting to hear the results.

Believe me, Hannity is a total coward. If you push back against him hard enough, he runs away, crying. Then his wife throws a glass of water in your face. icon_smile.gif

Anybody else find it a little odd that there is an Ann Coulter Banner ad in this thread? Why would anyone pay for an ad for her on this site. I guess more importantly why would Real Jock accept it. I am all for open mindedness but to post an ad for someone that has openly said gays should be wiped off the face of the earth and that she if a child of hers said he/she was gay she would place them up for adoption seems a little wacked to me.

Yea, I can't stand that bitch! She's an unimportant attention whore...but that is quite the coincidence how she ended up on this forum! icon_question.gif

I don't think it will happen. Hannity is blustering. And I doubt he'll follow through with his promise to be water boarded. He, and others like him, are all image and no substance. If he does go through with it, he won't last more than a few seconds. But it would be interesting to see who Fox get to demonstrate the procedure on him.

Maybe we'll actually get a show if he mistakenly signs up for a full session with no pussing out. Fox News making their own people gag... Priceless!
