    icon_lol.gif Don't insult us rednecks!

Just another DRUNK getting what he deserves!

The cop didn't do anything wrong, the guy was drunk and about to urinate in public.

    Good for the cop.

Whenever you hear someone saying "I know my rights!"...they usually don't.

I am appalled by this. Drunk red neck, or not, he was not a danger at that time to the officer or the public. Force should not have been used in my opinion. Yes he should be charged for urinating in public and probably for driving while intoxicated but the pepper spray was over the top. I personally do not take pleasure in seeing others suffer. Maybe now this being after the fact he can laugh but I hope the officer is held accountable and that we as a society do not support this type of control. Sometimes we laugh about serious issues, I understand that, but is does not make it right.

But I agree. The pepper spray was over the top. As was the redneck.

    This is police violence:

They're supposed to be used instead of guns, not handcuffs.

    I'm left in shock..

Ahhh..Trulsey..the infamous Vancouver Airport tragedy. Although I agree that the Police should have taken alternative steps to subdue the individual, it should be noted that the Police are taught that tasers briefly immobilizes rather than fatally injuring the individual. The situation was a circumstance of poor judgment and misuse of technology.

It was an isolated incident, but overall, Vancouver and provincial police have been doing an excellent job.
