How many of you guys have noticed a change in peoples spending habits since the economic downturn happened?

There's a lot less leisurely spending out there
    The clubs aren't as busy
    The venues aren't as well-attended

What's bummed me out is that the guys that I travel with are all afraid to spend money this year
and Now I don't have anyone to go on vacation with icon_cool.gif

I have to say I actually haven't seen much of this belt tightening in Phoenix or San Francisco. For example - try finding a place to park at good stores / hotels - restaurants. Try finding good tables - and you say to yourself, "What recession?" The good gourmet grocery stores are packed - people who have it - seem to have it. I feel sorry for those who are struggling. We all need to help others out. I like to do all I can for people and animals.

Joey - so where are we going on our next trip?icon_cool.gif

and doing with their leisure dollars

People are letting there hair grow longer.

    Less people at the spas.

    More people quitting the gym.

Less staff working at the gym.

less people shopping at the stores.

Furniture stores closing all around town.

    More hotel room space
