If you have to eat at a fast food place, which place would you go and what would you eat?

It is a given that those who are working out regularly and watch their diet should shy away from fast food places. But sometimes you don't have a choice and there are some healthy options out there.

Can you share a meal that you have at a fast food place that doesn't put you off track completely?

    Here is mine:

I go to Chick-fil-a and have the Char grilled chicken and fruit salad with a half a packet of their Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing, as well as a large carrot and raisin salad. If I really feel like splurging I get a diet lemonade instead of water.

    How about you?

I eat at Mr.Sub ( a Canadian owned version of Subway), since I've been boycotting Subway for a few years over removal of Subway stamps. It's a long story.

A turkey breast on wheat, all the veggies, no cheese, honey mustard sauce, and milk(skim).

Men's health has a whole section called, "Eat this, not that!" It tells you what to get at fast food and big chain dinning restaurants.

If I were at McDonalds I'd purchase a quarter pound sans cheese, side salad and a large iced tea.

At Arby's it would be a super roast beef sandwhich sans any mayo or sauce.

Subway or some sandwich place. Just the bread, meat, lettuce, tomato, pickle, black olive, cucumber, mustard and mayo. Drink with water, gatorade, or some type of juice. No cheese, no soda or anything else. Not even a bag of chips.

What I do is stop by a good, healthy grocery store and make my own salad. Choose only the good things and add lemon juice or non-fat dressing. Grab a bottle of apple, orange or grapefruit juice - or a smoothie for your drink. I just avoid the hamburger or taco joints - - - I can't stand hearing children screaming anyway!

I just try to order healthy, like non-fried chicken, and a salad instead of fries. Sometimes I just don't care and eat the crappy food, and it tastes good, but makes me feel gross. Therefore I don't do it all the time. Still, no matter what you get that is "healthy" it still isn't very good for you.

I always go for a fast food joint's grilled chicken salad with no mayo/special sauce, small fries and a diet drink. One mean like this isn't going to ruin me...especially if it's one time out of the month (if at all).

Chick-fil-A totally, by far! I work at the mall and have that every Saturday for lunch. I just love everything about it, the chicken sandwich(with cheese, I love cheese) and their awesome french fries! I usually have water to drink or unsweetened iced tea! Awesome! Btw, everyone is looking hot today! It's finally warm and sunny in Northeast Ohio and I'm loving it! I love life!!!

    FYI: For those who care.

"The religious organizations to which Truett Cathy and Chick-fil-A have lent support include such groups as FOCUS OF THE FAMILY. Groups researching financial support of religious groups have noted that Truett Cathy is one of the largest corporate sponsors of politically active religious groups in the US, largely through grants from the Truett Cathy Foundation but occasionally through direct sponsorship as well or through partnership with other foundations that are major corporate sponsors of politically active religious groups"" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick-fil-A

This barely qualifies as "fast food" but I love eating at Wahoos Fish Taco. The food is clean and not heavy. And the price is right.

KFC -- Their chicken BTW has never been "fried" it is baked.
My best fast meal then is the chicken with coleslaw and baked bean sides.

At Wendys I've been getting a plain baked potato and a small chili. If you get water to drink, then it's a filling fast food meal for about 3 bucks that isn't really bad for you.
