Ok this is some clothing help. Due to new work policy I can only wear shorts if the pass my knees. They said I could wear capri's but that would make me look gay. Then I thought, wait I am gay so why not. The problem comes in that trying to find them is a bit difficult. I would buy them online but then run the risk of them being too short. Anyone know a store where I can get them cheap? These are work shorts so I don't want to spend much money since I will more than likely ruin them. Thanks for the help.

Bought a pair of long shorts, past the knee at Macys last year in the Calvin Klein area. That has been the only place I found have found them made for men

I agree, unless you're buying onionskins, most shorts sold nowadays go at least to the knee if not past it.

Capris tend to go the bottom of your calf and it's not that they look gay - though they do - they're just fugly.

Why not just pick up some cool cargo shorts at places like Banana Republic or The Gap? They're washable and might last you for a good long time - plus you can wear them out in public and be happy about your purchase. (I hate to see you pick up something cheap that looks like Hell on you!)

Forget the capri pants. It's not that they make you look gay.. It's just that they don't look good at all on guys.

I agree with the above suggestions for cargo shorts or Dickies work shorts. The Dickies shorts are great. They come in two lengths.. at the knee and below the knee. They're stain resistant and durable. And they're made of polyester. So they always look neat and pressed.

H&M sells a lot of longer shorts, and they're VERY cheap.

I've seen a lot of shorts that go above the knee among the preppier of the college population of males..
I don't know where you'd get them though.

As a short guy, shorts that come below the knee make me look even shorter, so I try to buy only above the knee shorts. But they go in and out of style. Usually they alternate, but it's been two years in a row that below the knee shorts have been in.

As for Men's Capris (aka Manpris), they've been out of style for a while now. So, they wouldn't make you look gay, they'd make you look de classe!
